Foreign Frito Pie

This is a recipe for good ol' frito pie, optimized for lazy dinner-making and non-American supermarkets. It's frickin' good.

The critical ingredient is fritos. If you're not shopping at a Smith's or a HyVee, that might be hard to find. Instead, get corn tortilla chips. Not the ones with all kinds of added flavoring or whatever, just baked cornmeal and salt.

Nearly as important as the fritos are the baked beans. Again, this can be hard to find outside of the US. Any kind of beans with sauce will work as a replacement (you can get kidney beans in chili sauce most places).

All the other ingredients are up to personal taste. I'd suggest ground chicken, shredded mozzarella and cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and diced jalapeño. So long as you've got the chips and beans, it's all legal.

All you need to do now is put it together. Heat up the beans until the sauce is simmering. Fill a deep plate with the chips and pour the beans over them. Toss everything else (chicken, cheese, vegetables, salsa) on top of it, and that's dinner.
